Job Purpose and Impact

The Financial Risk Compliance Senior Analyst is responsible for managing complex commodity and derivative regulatory compliance requirements and ensuring controls are in place for Cargill to meet the regulations. In this role, you will partner with key stakeholders to develop and implement the key controls to ensure operational compliance and accuracy of data and reports. You will engage in the standardization and optimization of processes, as well as developing new solutions to enhance automation and implement any new regulatory requirements. In addition, you will be responsible for partnering with stakeholders and Financial Risk Management team members on the identification and documentation of Financial Risks in new trade flows, agreements, and structures.

Key Accountabilities

• Partner with key stakeholders to manage complex commodity and derivative regulatory compliance requirements and ensure we have processes in place to monitor and detect transaction reporting errors within any delegated or owned reporting. 
• Partner with Global Financial Risk Management teams, trading/commercial, and various Centers of Expertise to understand new trade flows and customer price risk solutions to ensure risk assessments are completed. Provide due diligence thought leadership for the global teams, as required.
• Develop and implement process simplification, enhance process standardization, optimize reporting, and drive automation and transformation processes. Prepare and deliver training, as required
• Ensure compliance of operations and monitor points of control.
• Lead risk management best practices and improvement initiatives.
• Share knowledge to build the team's capabilities within the compliance area.
• Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of four years of related work experience
• Experience in commodity and derivative activities
