The Opportunity
Our location in Princeton, NJ currently has an opportunity for aCommercial Analytics Manager. This is our lead for US Commercial Analytics who will also lead the analytics and insights program for our breakthrough TBI Whole Blood test and additional planned launches. As a strategic thought leader, this person will be responsible for the development and tracking of Key Performance Indicators of successful launch parameters. Strong leadership and collaboration skills are needed for cross departmental interactions with sales leadership, Commercial Excellence, IT, contracts & pricing, marketing, medical affairs, field support services and operations. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of new product introductions that will impact patient’s lives.
What You’ll Work On
Be the lead for US Analytics Function which will encompass new launches and existing business building and managing a process that is sustainable and reliable.
Develop an analytics infrastructure for launch dashboards and reporting to measure & assess team performance against key performance indicators (KPI’s).
Support business review preparations for new product or indication launches and present data to senior management.
Develop KPIs that drive speed-to-market, revenue, and agile commercial operations.
Translate analysis into actionable insights for sales and marketing teams to leverage for building growth initiatives.
Provide strategic partnership for commercial excellence team on how to use data and analytics to create data driven insights that can help guide actions and resource allocation decisions.
Continuously establish, evaluate, and improve the set of KPIs needed to best support the business planning and associated decision-making process and drive insights for the commercial organization.
Build dashboards with relevant KPIs to monitor product usage. Using this data, you will provide strategic insights and recommendations based on quantitative research into product usage, user segmentation, and channel data.
Create and maintain custom scenario planning frameworks which analyze trends in a timely manner and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of future analytics.
Collaborate with technology leaders, business partners and peer groups regarding long and short-range analytics goals and strategy.
Collect, process and analyze competitive data.
Drive strategic account management initiatives as well as other organizational activities geared at improving account effectiveness.
Work with large, complex data sets to support implementation of data solutions that help predict, improve, and measure the success of key business outcomes.
Develop and lead projects focused on delivering visually appealing, interactive reports and dashboards, to communicate findings and insights and that meet the needs of internal stakeholders.
Continually identify opportunities for process improvement and engage with teams to advise on execution of improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Business, Analytics or other relevant areas
Previous experience at least in one of the desired fields: commercial excellence, sales force effectiveness, business intelligence, consulting, project management or commercial/financial planning and analysis
5+ years of relevant experience
Experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization and data mining, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry.
Experience in creation of Analytics tools and trackers
Analytic excellence combined with strong commercial intuition as evidenced by the ability to define analytics that can help guide and influence commercial activities that deliver top line growth.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to communicate actionable analytical findings.
Strong problem-solving skills and project management skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams within a matrixed organization.
Good communication and teamwork skills with ability to communicate across all organizational levels, confident presenting to senior management.
Strategic thinker, combined with a demonstrated track record of delivering business results.
Thorough understanding of commercial dynamics required.
A forward thinker and self-starter with the ability to work in an environment with limited oversight and direction.
Business intuition: ability to quickly assimilate new knowledge and thrives on new challenges.

The base pay for this position is $95,000.00 – $190,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
