Our team in Essen currently has an opening for a Business Development Specialist & Technical Sales Manager Animal Nutrition DACH (m/f/d)
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be part of the Animal Nutrition team within BrenntagDACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and will be responsible for managing anddeveloping our product and supplier portfolio and give technical support tocolleagues as well as develop our business relation to a selected customerportfolio and partake in developing new customers within the Animal Nutrition segment.
- Manage our product and supplier portfolio to maximize revenue and profitability
- Manage selected key accounts to maximize revenue and profitability
- Full accountability to deliver key business metrics following our strategy
- Identify new product opportunities within the Animal Nutrition and Petfood segment and manage the Animal Nutrition and Petfood product portfolio
- Identify and develop a comprehensive understanding of customer potentials and convert them to Brenntag solutions
- Develop strategic and operational relationships with key decision makers and influencers within supplier and relevant customer communities
YOUR PROFILE
- Educational Background: Master degree (e.g. Animal Science, Veterinary Science) or similarlevel of education
- Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of work experience in product management and/or sales to complex customers within relevant industry
- Mode of operation: Track-record of developing strong and influential business relationships; take ownership and meet deadlines
- Personality: Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- IT-Skills: Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems and knowledge of SAP will be an advantage
- Language Skills: Excellent Communication skills in German and English (written and spoken).
