Business Analyst - Market Risk - Praha Or Brno

In Commerzbank Risk Control division, we are modernizing our infrastructure and developing flexible, modern software solutions that adapt to the changing needs of our customers. We are looking for a new colleague to join us as a Business Analyst for our reporting and limit management system.
You will work in a cross-functional team of Business Analysts, developers and application support specialists who use agile methods to maintain and further develop the assigned applications. The team’s communication language is English.

Your tasks

• As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for business analysis activities for several systems in Market Risk reporting area.
• Analyzing data and processes around our systems and processes with SQL and Python
• Improve efficiency of the application and enhance the user experience by adding new reporting functionality and onboarding of new data in collaboration with risk managers.
• Providing 3rd level support for the application.

Your profile

• Minimum 5 years work experience as a Business Analyst with Python/SQL knowledge.
• University degree in finance, statistics, mathematics, computer science or equivalent work experience.
• Willingness to deepen knowledge of financial/derivatives products and Market Risk.
• Working experience with Market Risk methods and systems.
• IT affinity and strong knowledge of data analysis, business workflow and data modelling.
• Experience with software development lifecycle and agile work techniques.
• Very strong communication skills- driving topics for development and implementation.
• Proficient English communication skills - written and spoken.
