Associate Qa Manager (M/W/D) – Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg

• Responsible for quality of factory software in Gigafactory Berlin
• Build and manage a team of software QA engineers
• Create test strategies for factory applications and work with engineers to implement them
• Contribute to the design and the implementation of Tesla’s automated test frameworks, built on the top of well-known open-source solutions
• Stay informed of current methodologies and technologies, contribute to and participate in the evaluation of new strategies and/or technologies to improve software quality
• Conduct technical feasibility studies, implement proof of concepts
• Maintain high standard of internal documentation with a special focus on traceability of change validation

• People management experience
• Strong understanding of general concepts andpractices of software engineering, ideally with experience with one or more of JavaScript, Go, Java or C# in collaboration with CI/CD toolchains using commontechnologies such as Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins
• Good understanding of REST and experience testingweb service APIs using automation
• Hands-on experience with commonly usedtechnologies like TestNG, Junit, Protractor, Cucumber, Jasmine, Cypress, WebDriverIO,Appium (J-Meter is a big plus)
• Understanding of architectural challenges ofhigh-performance, high-availability distributed systems, with the ability topositively influence architecture and design decisions
• Strong knowledge of relational databaseconcepts and SQL
• Both familiarity with information security conceptsand best practices as well as experience with Kafka and a deepunderstanding of streaming architectures is a big plus
