The Position
The associate Medical Science Partner (aMSP) is a hybrid medical expert role ( field-based with additional medical tasks in the office ) dedicated to the disease area Ophthalmology with responsibility for all of Switzerland . The role is embedded in the Swiss Affiliate and includes 40-60% in-field work (locally in all of Switzerland and travel to international congresses) .
As associate Medical Science Partner (aMSP) you are responsible for fostering long-term relationships withTherapeutic Area Experts (TAEs) as Roche medical point of contact . You take care of the scientific exchange and collaboration , sensing medical trends in the market, as well as shaping the evolution of the clinical ecosystem.
On top you are driving the execution of medical activities and solutions from end to end (e.g. medical event management) and you are supporting the senio r Medical Science Partner with regard to medical customer engagement, shaping the medical strategy as well as the execution of medical activities and solutions.
Your challenge includes:
Interaction withTAE s and Healthcare Professionals ( HCPs) in order to understand their perspectives and needs and identify areas of scientific interest and collaboration
Executing medical activities and solutions (end-to-end) in the field and at the office in support of and close collaboration with the the senior Medical Science Partner and the Medical Science Managers
In-field:
Providing scientific presentations to external audiences, exchange with TAEs/HCPs to discuss data and understand their perspectives and needs for information, execution of medical activities at congresses and other scientific events, discuss, evaluate and follow-up on scientific collaboration projects with HCPs and lead and support medical advisory boards
Office-based:
Support the Medical Science Managers in generating scientific material and supporting the clearance of promotional material, administration of sponsoring and HCP contracts, education and support for internal audience
Who you are
As a qualified candidate you bring a MD, PharmD or PhD in life sciences and prior experience in the field of Ophthalmology .

Expertise as medical field function (experienced in customer interactions) is an advantage
Several years of experience in Medical Affairs preferred
Fluent in German and English; French preferred
