Assistant Consultant (Transformation Advisory) – 2024 Graduate Programme

Strategic Advisory Services

Responding to global challenges requires rapid adaptation and transformation of the built environment. Our Strategic Advisory Services team brings together our integrated suite of communication, design, consulting and sustainability skillsets to help our clients navigate change, by developing smart responses tailored to their needs. As part of our growth ambitions, we are recruiting a motivated and driven communications professional looking to grow their career, to join our Transformational Advisory Team.

Transformation and Advisory Team

This role will be part of the multidisciplinary Transformational Advisory Team which is made up of Strategy and Communications specialists. The team supports clients in navigating complex challenges, identifying opportunities, and executing sustainable transformational initiatives to achieve strategic objectives. The successful candidate will develop skills in designing strategies, interpreting insights, and how to best communicate with stakeholders and clients.

Your Responsibilities may include:

  • Conduct research on industry trends, campaigns and market dynamics to support strategy development.
  • Support on stakeholder engagement and strategic communications for clients
  • Assist in preparing reports and communication materials for clients, summarising findings, recommendations, and next steps.
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategic initiatives delivering value to clients.
  • Assist in preparing and delivering client presentations, workshops, and meetings.
  • Support in coordinating project activities, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure clear and effective communication across all project activities.

We seek the following qualifications, attributes, and skills:

  • Level 8 or above qualifications in a relevant discipline, including but not limited to: Business, Engineering, Management , Communications or Social Studies or Psychology
  • 1-2 years relevant experience desirable
  • Adaptable with an interest to learn on the job
  • Strong professional acumen and work ethic.
  • Capable of working as part of a team as well as independently, across multiple projects
  • A sustainability mindset with an awareness of the economic, environmental and societal challenges facing organisations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Interest in infrastructure, transport, urban, sustainability and regional development.
