Tasks

Your Ownership? 💪

As the first salesperson in the German Founding Team, you will take on the ambitious challenge of launching Hero on the international stage. To make this expansion a success, you will have to define the whole sales strategy in this market, in collaboration with the help of the teams based in Paris (the global sales team will help you to understand the needs of potential customers and how we close them in our domestic market to achieve your goals). You will be in a full-cycle mode, prospecting new outbound opportunities through cold calling and closing those prospects during demos to get our first customers in Germany.

As the first Account Executive launching the German market, your missions will be to :

  • Lead the commercial deployment strategy in Germany
  • Identify the most relevant segments in coordination with the growth marketing team
  • Design your prospection and closing strategy in collaboration with the global sales team
  • Cold call and close potential customers to achieve your targets
  • Collect key information about the market and your buyer personae
  • Collaborate with the Product team to adapt our features to your customers’ need
  • Create scalable processes to start the construction of a future international department
  • Manage a SDR

Requirements

Your Hero profile ? 🦸

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in sales, in a full-cycle mode
  • Experience in the fintech, in financial services industry or in consulting firms is a plus
  • Hunter’s soul : you are resilient, if the door is closed, you go through the window !
  • Good pitcher : you are not afraid to pick up the phone to talk to c-level members and lead complex discussions
  • Entrepreneurial mindset : you love to start from a blank of sheet and think out of the box
  • Leader : you know how to motivate and engage your team in the strategy you have defined
  • Doer : you are able to get your hands dirty with the ambition to lift mountains
  • Data driven : you never lose sight of your goal and give yourself all the means to achieve it
  • Agile and flexible : you adapt easily to fast-track environment
  • Passionate about Tech, and more particularly about the world of fintechs
  • Polyglot : you’re a german native speaker and you speak english fluently. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
