Your new field of activity at the Erlangen site
- Recording, diagnosis and technical documentation of faulty inverters
- Support of failure analysis in testing, of customer returns and production failures
- Determination of material compositions using chemical analysis methods
- Actively collaborate with internal disciplines to determine the cause of failure
- Developing proposed solutions for product improvement
Ideally, you bring the following with you
- a successfully completed degree in materials science or chemistry.
- several years of professional experience in the environment of testing and analysis of electronic components of the automotive industry on system, package and component level
- sound knowledge of relevant chemical analysis methods (e.g. SEM, FTIR, XRF, GCMS, IC and ICP)
- Fluent German and good written and spoken English skills are part of competencies
