Working Student – Support Test Activities For Mobile Online Services

The experience of modern smartphones and the many different services available via connected devices (IoT) has sparked interest in connected services in the automotive environment. Car manufacturers are endeavouring to provide new offerings and services via apps and infotainment systems. IAV is active in the development and provision of mobile online services.

Your Tasks:

• You moderate customer requirements by communicating and evaluating the contents of the specifications (concept, boundary conditions, effort) and providing support in the offer phase
• You set up the working structures of the project together with the project management: you identify, visualize and clarify interfaces between all technical trades including RASI, determine the system decomposition and associated engineering processes, carry out system documentation and modeling and take care of the initiation and release of verification and validation up to system release
• You are the implementer, coordinator, evaluator and decision-maker for overarching technical development and communication, e.g. in terms of (concept) development, error and change processes, information provision and checking, integration for specialists as well as requirements, test and configuration management
• Together with the project management, you will be responsible for target management. This includes the technical process planning, gates of the trades to the synchronization points and the evaluation of gate achievement

Necessary Skills:

• Ongoing MINT studies and relevant professional experience
• Basic understanding of all development trades (requirements management, development, configuration management, integration, testing, validation & verification) and their methods
• Systematic understanding of engineering laws and standards and the scope of development
• Knowledge of MBSE (SysML, UML, DSL)
• Comprehensive understanding of the system, incl. views of the system and their dependencies
• Product development process (PEP)
• Experience in concept development
• Ability to organize and abstract
