Do you enjoy working with language, and playing with words in a creative, comprehensive, and inspiring way? Are you the kind of person who loves researching topics in-depth and learning specialized terminology? Well then, welcome to the KoRo team!
We are looking for someone who can support us in translation/localization and SEO optimization (DE - IT) to boost our search engine performance and visibility on the Italian market and take care of our Italian website.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
- Research of product-related information, keyword research, and SEO-optimization of product descriptions (existing as well as new texts)
- Monitoring and evaluation of the SEO key figures and performance
- Translation:
- Administration of content for our online shop
- Translation and localization of product descriptions, news articles, blog entries, press texts, social media content, and all other website content
- Occasional creation of country-specific content for social media and PR
Your profile
- Ongoing studies of translation or languages, or online marketing and similar fields (as a Working Student you must be enrolled)
- Ideally, you already have some experience in the field of translation, writing editorial content, or SEO
- Language skills: Excellent Italian (C2 level), a good understanding of (written) German, and a good command of English (office language)
- You either live in Berlin or you are interested in a remote position
- You have good Microsoft Office skills
- You have a broad understanding of the Italian media (classic and online) and an interest in search engine optimization
- Ideally, you have some knowledge of content management systems (Shopware) as well as initial experience with Google Analytics and common SEO tools
- You have a good command of words and you can work independently and keep a cool head even in stressful situations
- One of your strengths is creativity as well as strong communication skills and you enjoy working in creative freedom - what matters to us are the results!
