Business Area Wind is responsible for Vattenfall’s Onshore and Offshore Wind as well as other non-hydro renewable activities such as PV/Solar. Our offshore business is amongst the top players globally and we have recently inaugurated the world’s first subsidy free offshore site. Our ambition is to profitably grow with a European focus, and thus help Vattenfall succeed in its mission to make fossil free living possible within one generation.

For our Business Area Wind we are looking for a

Working StudentProcess Excellence

for our office in Hamburg.

You will part of the Process Excellence department, which is responsible to build out and implement BU Offshore’s Business Process Management capabilities as well as managing and improving the project governance scope within the business unit. In this role, you will be supporting BU Offshore project governance improvements. The overall purpose is to achieve best-in-class project governance by sufficient implementation of project management tools and support improvements in project governance model within Business Unit Offshore.

Key responsibilities and duties

  • Support our Process Excellence Team with governance topics and in day-to-day business
  • Assist in the coordination, implementation and continuous improvement of our project governance model
  • Support in the implementation and administration of new digital tools that improve our project management and governance
  • Develop and update of the process and governance documentation and guidelines
  • Support in the structuring and maintenance of our BU Offshore Governance SharePoint site
  • Support Process Excellence team with the development and implementation of diverse process improvement initiatives and ways of working.

Ihr Profil


  • You study business, economics, engineering or a comparable course of studies and are at least in the third semester of your bachelor's degree or in your master's degree.
  • Preferably you have initial knowledge of Business Process Management or Project Management topics
  • You have initial knowledge and interest in implementation of digital tools and process standardization
  • You have an analytical mindset, and have experience structuring and analyzing data
  • You enjoy working with people and with some degree of independence
  • You have an eye for details and keep an overview and structure, also when times are busy
  • You are fluent in English written and spoken, knowledge of German is a plus
  • You know Office365 (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint) and you are comfortable familiarizing yourself with new IT tools

Conditions

  • Start date: As soon as possible
  • Flexible 2-4 days/week, and max 15-20 hours/week
  • Location: Hamburg
  • Physical presence in the office will be required
