What you’ll do

 

We're on the lookout for a motivated student with a passion for code and a keen interest in contributing to the development and improvement of the Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) service on SAP’s Business Technology Platform. The ideal candidate will be able to help us tailor our service to meet the specific needs of SAP customers.

 

You will:

  • Collaborate with our development team to enhance our CI/CD system, ensuring it aligns with customer and corporate requirements.
  • Implement new features and functionalities using technologies like Kubernetes and Spring Boot.
  • Actively participate in our agile development practices and DevOps, showing flexibility and adaptability in tackling various topics.
  • Contribute innovative ideas and fresh insights to help us continually improve and stay ahead of the curve.

 

You will be working in a diverse team applying agile development practices and DevOps, requiring the flexibility and the ability to work on different topics.

What you bring

 

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study: Science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM)
  • Solid coding skills, preferably in Go, Java, JavaScript or C++
  • Familiar with source code management tools like Git
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts
  • First experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Jenkins is a plus
  • Language skills: Fluent in English, German is a plus

 

Meet your Team

 

Our team, part of SAP Business Technology Platform Engineering Services, helps SAP customers to reduce manual efforts in their development processes.The team develops and operates the Continuous Integration & Delivery service worldwide. This service enables development teams on customer side to continuously build their product and deliver into the SAP Business Technology Platform.

 

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
