What you’ll do

We are looking for a student worker to join our team and help us create engaging and informative content for our audience. As a communication expert, you will be responsible for:

• Writing and editing newsletters, blog entries, and other online materials that showcase our work and impact
• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of our communication activities and providing feedback and recommendations for improvement

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent writing and editing skills, as well as a keen eye for detail and design. You should also have some experience or interest in communications, marketing, or public relations. You should be able to work independently and communicate effectively with different people. You should be willing to learn new skills and feel comfortable with topics on related to information technology and security.

What you bring

• Student (f/m) at a university or a university of applied sciences
• Preferred fields of study in communications, public relations or similar
• Fluency in German or English
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• Ability to communicate accurately and proactively
• Knowledge of communication strategies, principles, and techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Creativity, initiative, and attention to detail
• Affinity for IT and/or security is a plus

Meet your Team

SAP Security Research’s objective is to understand new basic principles in research, analyze the business value for SAP, refine the method and adapt them for SAP. By building prototypes and blueprints for productization, we support the SAP development teams to consume the research results.

As the global research department for Security, we are working on innovations around Anonymization, Machine Learning, Applied Cryptography, and Quantum Computing. We are a young and dynamic team of post-doctoral researchers and PhD Students, striving for new ways to protect enterprise systems.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
