Your responsibilities

• As a Financial Manager (Working Student) you will join our Financial Management Team and support us to maintain a planning and forecasting platform, which is used to have transparency on volume consumption.
• Support us in updating our data basis on historical consumption and gain a deep understanding how consumption of services provided by external supplier is tracked, invoiced, and internally processed.
• Work closely with our stakeholders to ensure a mutual understanding of relevant data and support with consumptionanalysis for IT services.
• You will be responsible for preparation, cleansing and design of our financial data and reports.
• Develop and maintain standard reporting dashboards in Excel and Power BI.
• You will be involved in our quarterly cost forecasting prosses and learn how to align consumption forecasting across multiple stakeholders and will act as an interface between our Contract and Vendor Management, Service Managers, and IT Controlling.
• Create and implement concepts on how to further automate our report processing.

Your profile

• Enrolled during the whole Working Student activity in bachelor’s or master’s studies.
• Student with interest and ideally first practical experience in finance or controlling.
• Understanding of financial processes and cost management.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• First experience in Power BI for data analytics report creation .
• First experience with development languages and the logic behind display an advantage.
• Analytical thinking and structured working methods as well as a solution-oriented and pragmatic approach to solve problems.
• Initiative and enthusiasm for data analytics , process improvements and automation.
• Fluent in English.
