Warehouse Material Operator

As a Warehouse Material Operator, you will be responsible for picking and staging orders to be sent to the production facility. This is a job in a warehouse environment with speed and accuracy being key components. The handler will have access to electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and ladders to accomplish their task. The duties are performed per department policies and procedures, under the direction of the Material Specialist Lead or the Warehouse Manager.

Your responsibilities

• Pulling Kit BOMS that are assigned in a timely fashion
• Making sure all parts are labeled and organized for the production line
• Paying attention to detail so the Kit BOMs are accurate
• Understands and maintains work area following 6S guidelines
• May perform other related duties as assigned

Your background

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Must perform simple math (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
• Must be able to stand or walk about the plant for long periods of time
• Willing to learn the use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and ladders
• Able to physically lift and carry up to 35 lbs frequently
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment
• Experience with driving a forklift
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
