You actively participate in teaching, research & administration, which means:
• You serve to cover a vacancy in the area of Comparative Politics with a focus on Eastern and Southeastern European studies.
• You hold courses at Bachelor's and Master’s levels independently within the scope of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement.
• The teaching load is four courses (eight semester hours) per week.
Your Profile:
Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:
• Doctoral degree in Political Science
• Several years teaching experience at university level
• Excellent educational and didactic skills
• Excellent command of written and spoken English. Good command of German is an advantage
• University level teaching experience in the field of comparative politics or political economy with a focus on Eastern and Southeastern Europe
• Willingness and ability to advise BA and MA and doctoral students on their theses.
• Willingness to work in a team
• Excellent publication record in comparative politics or political economy with a focus on Eastern Europe is an advantage
• Habilitation or equivalent is desirable
