You’ll be at the heart of our content creation efforts. From brainstorming to independently bringing ideas to life, you’ll play a crucial role in crafting educational and entertaining (edutainment) Video Content. Your expertise in video scripting, filming, editing as well as collaborating with external teams.
Responsibilities:
1. Content Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement content formats aligned with branding and marketing objectives.
- Plan and schedule content creation, ensuring consistent and engaging releases.
- Design and execute organic social media campaigns around the produced content to maximize reach and engagement.
- Collaborate with the engineering and Brand Communication team to align content campaigns with product launches, updates, brand storytelling as well as trending topics.
2. Content Creation:
- Learn new products and translate technical features into emotionally-driven stories and engaging tutorials, catering to various audiences, from beginners to tech enthusiasts.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure accurate representation of technical aspects.
- Ideate and script compelling edutainment videos.
- Independently create content through storyboarding, scriptwriting, photography, filming, editing, sound mixing and post-production.
- Confidently present on-camera and demonstrate products.
3. Working with External Partners:
- Collaborate with press, influencers, and content producers for content creation.
- Outsource and project manage productions and content to external companies.
- Conduct interviews with engineers and external experts, translating technical details into accessible and engaging content.
- Represent the company at events for content production, presentations, and networking opportunities.
4. Social Media Engagement:
- Publish content directly on social media platforms.
- Engage with viewers and the community, responding to comments and messages to foster a strong online presence.
- Stay up to date with cultural and social trends to quickly jump on opportunities.
Requirements:
1. Experience and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Video Content producer, with a strong portfolio showcasing educational and entertaining content.
- Expertise in video scripting, filming, lighting, editing, with proficiency in relevant software, tools, and cameras.
- Demonstrated experience in live audio engineering, with references from previous live engineering jobs.
- Excellent technical understanding of digital and analog mixers, PAs, stage boxes, and live audio gear.
2. Communication and Presentation:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to translate technical features into emotionally-driven stories, customer benefits beyond the mere technical features.
3. Collaboration and Networking:
- Ability to work with external partners, influencers, and content producers.
- Comfortable interviewing engineers and experts to create informative content.
4. Social Media Savvy:
- Proficient in social media platforms and content publishing.
- Experience engaging with viewers and fostering an active community.
Work Environment:
You’ll be part of a small but highly collaborative team of around 30 individuals, including marketing and engineering professionals. While the main office is located near Duesseldorf, this is a hybrid position that offers partial work-from-anywhere flexibility.
