Vehicle System Engineering Internship (M/W/D) - Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg

As Vehicle System Engineering Intern, you will

· Get a deep understanding of Tolerance Management, Vehicle Build Objective, and vehicle manufacturing process.

· Design & build fixture prototypes and do trials to prove concepts and processes.

· Conduct detailed CAD studies and review 2D Drawings, to understand manufacturing and design requirements

· Work with PLM system, monitor design changes and quality tools e.g. JIRA

· Closely work with design - & manufacturing engineering teams

· Good knowledge of German as well as very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.

· Excellent grasp of engineering fundamentals

· Organizational, numerical and analytical skills

· Currently working towards a degree in a relevant engineering program such as Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechatronics

· Technology fluency and ability to operate within internal business systems and MS Office.

· Proficiency designing in a 3D CAD software (CATIA proficiency is a plus)

· Experience reviewing engineering drawings (GD&T experience is a plus)

· Eagerness to collaborate with other engineering disciplines while able to work independently; detail-oriented and execution focused.

· Genuine curiosity and willingness to understand how our products are designed, built and how they operate.
