UX/UI Designer (f/m/d) for medical solutions

With more than 370 dialysis centers serving 28,000 patients, our focus is on developing the medical software "Nexadia," which simplifies the daily routines of medical staff.
Our vision is to completely redevelop the previously self-hosted systems for the cloud. This project will be developed using agile methodologies (SAFe) and a modern tech stack including MS Azure, IoT Hub, Edge components, Docker, and more.
Due to the complex interplay of our hardware systems, which include dialysis machines and scales, our team will regularly work on-site in Melsungen.

In your new role as UI/UX Designer (f/m/d), you are responsible for developing the User Experience and User Interface of our dialysis software "Nexadia NG." This includes the creation of Task flows, Figma Prototypes, contributing Design System UI Elements, as well as testing and quality Assurance with the developers. You will be developing agilely with modern technologies and are an essential part of the project.

Duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for the User Experience and Interfaces for the innovative medical software "Nexadia NG" - from idea, pre-development, implementation, and user testing to quality control with developers.
- Develop low-, mid-, and high-end interactive prototypes under the Human-Centered Design aspects using tools like Figma.
- Define User Interface Solutions mainly for Web-Apps, partly for Graphical User Interfaces on our Dialysis Machine
- Analyze and understand user requirements, understand business goals, create personas, task flows, information architectures, Navigation Concepts.
- Work in an agile environment with experts in UX/UI, software and hardware development, architecture, and project management.
Professional competencies
- Passionate UX/UI designer with several years of industry experience, preferably in developing software solutions for the healthcare sector.
- Experience in leading projects, design service providers, and UX/UI teams technically.
- Skills in creating Graphical User Interfaces for software applications.
- Experience with agile development methodologies such as SCRUM, SAFe, and tools like Figma, Adobe CC.
- Knowledge in UX engineering, UX research, and ideally UX writing.
