Join us as Tendering Lead for the Electrification Distribution Solutions Business Area where you will be adapting and implementing sales support strategy for a designated area in accordance with the global support strategy. Ensuring technical and commercial support for internal and external customers. Overseeing estimations, bids, and proposals ensuring alignment with ABB standards and targets. Leads, develops, and coaches the Sales Support team.Reporting to Marketing & Sales Manager and this position will be based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

Your responsibilities

• Working in collaboration with the Sales team to support and execute strategies to establish products and solutions during design/identification phase
• Overseeing the support provided and proposal preparation by assigning and allocating internal and external resources for technical and commercial support and proposal preparation
• Overseeing the validation of terms and conditions (commercial, technical, legal, and pricing) in each offer
• Supporting bid/no bid analyses and decisions. Participates in project risk review processes
• Collaborating closely with the opportunity leader to understand the opportunity requirement / Scope / Specification / Needs and develop a customer request into a ABB offer by proposing a compliant solution with the Client requirements in the most cost-effective manner
• Providing accurate and approved tender/bid submission within SLA. Commercial judgement – ability to estimate the potential value of an enquiry/tender, and the chance of success

Your background

• Degree in Electrical Engineering and equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in Electrical Engineering/tendering. Preferably in Medium Voltage
• Attentive to both technical and contractual details of RFPs and tender document
• Knowledge of commercial terms and conditions
• Leadership through influence, problem solving, team-working, communication, result orientation complete the profile
• Fluency in English is a must, both written and spoken
