Your future plans

  • Assume responsibility for day-to-day organisation and ensure safety, performance management, planning, resource control and communication
  • Manage, coordinate and / or monitor Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and Generator site maintenance activities 
  • Respond to short notice requests for emergency repairs and services to troublesome equipment
  • Responsible for applying technical standards to the project, developing method statements, quality control plans and risk assessments
  • Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation, calibration, repair and maintenance at RWE sites
  • Outage schedule development; coordination & planning of subcontractor´s, craft labour’s and tooling; checking of parts required for the project; preparing of job status reports to customers
  • Maintain strong safety mindset to assure the executed work reflects the technical requirements within RWE safety standards
  • Perform walk-downs during maintenance activities to ensure that the contractors are working properly
     

Your powerful skills

  • Technician or equivalent
  • Applicable experience and demonstrated success / knowledge on gas / steam turbine, generator and auxiliary system maintenance
  • Strong Project Management and planning skills (Microsoft Project scheduling tool preferred)
  • Strong technical and maintenance knowledge of gas / steam turbines and generators
  • Good communication, time management and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated leadership ability through decision-making abilities, troubleshooting, problem-solving and teamwork
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, regulations and directives
  • Broad understanding of key Process Safety issues such as Plant Modifications, HAZOP, SIL process, Safe Operating Limits and Pressure Systems Regulations
  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • English and German proficiency required
  • Ability and willingness to work holidays and weekends by field assignments and to travel to and from projects and various field assignments (national and international)
