As the In-Season Management and Data Products team, we support this vision by ensuring relevant assortment is available to our customers and providing a great shopping experience. We want to achieve high product availability and relevant assortment to minimize lost sales while controlling for overstock/underperformance to increase profitability.

As the Team Lead for the In-Season Management team, you will find yourself at the forefront of department-wide analytical initiatives, fostering analytical thinking and data-driven decision support mindset, being the trust advisor of your stakeholders, and tackling complex analytical challenges. You will challenge our status quo, drive innovation and introduce analytical best practices.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • Leading the In-Season analytics team into new and challenging horizons such as predictive analytics, inventory optimization and loss demand estimation.
  • Changing the game, analyzing our current performance, finding opportunities, establishing data-driven in-season management processes and helping us grow stronger.
  • Defining the team's data analytic roadmap to enable us to better analyse and understand operational processes, patterns, and trends.
  • Running proof of concepts to validate ideas and converting these ideas into prototypes.
  • Building and clearly communicating compelling data stories to support operational teams taking data-based decisions and actions.
  • Visualizing large & diverse data to establish support optimization of our operational performance.

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • Balance between technical acumen and business understanding and excel in collaborating with commercial stakeholders to drive insightful, robust analyses.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a curious and self-starter mindset.
  • Apply logical and easy-to-understand frameworks to deal with complex issues and propose new analytical approaches & solutions.
  • Passion for big data combined with pragmatism to drive actions and impact. You have advanced proficiency in data querying with SQL as well as in data transformation and statistical computing in Python or R.
  • Visualize your data insights with tools like Tableau, Power BI, Microstrategy, or Google Datastudio.
  • Ensure your team has access to state of the art tools for your analysts to perform their work, define governance structures on effective documentation & reproducibility.
  • Excellent educational background in Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering or similar quantitative field.
  • Proven track record of experience in a similar role, ideally in an e-commerce environment.
  • Previous people leadership experience is a must (at least 3 years experience leading a team would be ideal).
