What are your responsibilities?
- Involves both technical and management work packages - 70-30 ratio, also depending on the interest
- Management-related responsibilities: team management, backlogs and sprint management, task allocation and reporting, presentation to different stakeholders
- Technical work package: handling product architecture (DB & SW, frontend and backend development)
- Building feature sketch preparation & documentation, and involving in brainstorming sessions
- Determining project requirements, developing work schedules for the team and requirement implementation
- Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible
- Analyzing existing operations and scheduling training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and developments
What shall you bring along?
- Successfully completed university degree (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, technology) or similar qualification, minimum of 5 years of experience
- Proven practical experience with Python
- Knowledge in relational and non-relational databases - previous experience with MySQL, MongoDB, GraphDB
- Relevant professional experience with APIs (including RESTful), Webhook concepts
- Backend development knowledge in Django
- Knowledge in Linux server administration, git administration and webserver servers like nginx and/or Apache
- Knowledge in any/all of HTML, CSS/SCSS, js, jQuery is a plus
- Knowledge in AWS/GCP/firebase is a plus
- Knowledge in penetration testing and cyber security is a plus
- Ability to make efficient database architectural designs - considering normalization, de-normalization, indexing
- Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, German language knowledge would be a plus; Strong communication and assertiveness as well as diplomatic skills in dealing with relevant stakeholders
