This challenge awaits you:
Would you like to play an active role in shaping the vehicle functions of tomorrow? In the course of digitalization, more and more methods from the IT world are finding their way into the automotive development process. To ensure this, the use of established paradigms and technologies - such as updating software modules via the vehicle's "Online Remote Update (ORU)" interface - has become indispensable. This makes it all the more important to proceed carefully when safeguarding these functions, to rely on well-founded procedures and to recognize technological trends and innovation potential and apply them in a targeted manner.
You will work on the development, integration and validation of new vehicle functions and strengthen our interdisciplinary team. You will use state-of-the-art methods such as machine learning/deep learning and keyword-driven testing. Depending on your specialization, you can focus your work on everything from concept and algorithm development to integration into the functional environment.
Your Tasks:
- You will be involved in the conception and development of software within the framework of Test Automation
- You support the development of libraries within a generic Test Automation architecture
- You optimize test strategies - e.g. in the direction of keyword-driven testing
- You supervise the C# / .NET development activities within a CI/CD process (conducting reviews, creating unit tests)
- You communicate within a community to find the best solutions
Necessary Skills:
- Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics, mathematics, physics or a comparable course of study
- Experience in software development with C# / .NET or a comparable programming language
- Experience in the commissioning and operation of HiL systems and the use of associated Test Automation
- Experience in the application of UI design patterns such as MVC or MVVM and the associated understanding of operation from the perspective of a software tester
- Experience with CI/CD environments, such as GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, Bitbucket
- Strong knowledge of programming paradigms and software testing methods
Desired Skills:
- Ideally a qualification according to ISTQB standard
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Very good analytical and conceptual skills
- Good communication and strong teamwork skills
- Networked and interdisciplinary thinking as well as a systematic and structured way of working
- Creativity, commitment and goal orientation
