As the name of our team would suggest, we support DHL DGF Finance users around the globe. It’s finance, so we must ensure we do so in a secure way – and that’s the core of what we do.

You will provide support to the project currently focusing on migration of countries and companies from other platforms and mostly the older version of System-21 to newer version; and then later supporting the day-to-day operations.

Yes, the demand and issues may get tricky – and this is where the whole System-21 and entire ITS team steps in – to help you out, to support you, to help you grow. And by doing so, to address the reported incidents, defects and requests in timely manner and with the right-first-time approach. We all do mistakes, so second time is also fine. We are all on the same board and we want to make our entire DHL DGF chess game the winning one. And you will be an important piece.

Working with your immediate team, the entire team, the whole of ITS and/or our vendors, you are encouraged to come with new solutions, proposals and different/better ways of doing things.

You will always be heard and you will always get a chance to propose, explain and promote your ideas if they are truly beneficial to what we do at DHL DGF or even entire DHL Group Services.

As a System 21 Migration Specialist, having skills such as Windows Server, SQL, CL, RPG, REXX, networking is a huge plus. Very good knowledge of ITIL, System21 and migrations will also be an integral part of this role. Knowing the IBM i at least at operator level is a must. It’s a core of what we do after all.

You are a IBM i aficionado, therefore you have a good understanding of overall IT, the IBM I system. You are able to work independently, with tight deadlines, prioritize and organize your tasks under time and workload pressure and most importantly, cooperate with the team not only in Prague but also spread worldwide – very good level of English therefore is a must.

Hi, my name is Petr and I’m a team manager. I started my career at DHL IT Services back in 2008, although not all the 16 years I’ve spent with this company. I had a wonderful opportunity to try also other challenges and I’ve returned at the beginning of 2023, richer in experience which I hope to be putting to a good use here. Why did I come back? Project S21 migration is a big, huge challenge and I have my motor set to auto-accept complicated things although I do not push the others to the same. I wish to motivate. And I want people to know that if you fail – well, you have at least tried. But if you succeed, you may get to the wonderful club of people like Frank Soltis, Steve Jobs, Martha Lane Fox or Carol Shaw… this club awaits your name to join the lot.
