We are looking for a System Test Engineer to take over quality management in our Development Department, with a focus on embedded software. The role has the potential to evolve in a team lead position, as the needs in the company broaden. You will have the chance to develop new quality processes and hire and manage the QA team in the future.

Your area of responsibility
- Take ownership of the end-to-end quality process ranging from the mobile application to the physical product, with a focus on embedded software
- Hire and grow the embedded QA Team
- Planning of the quality processes via product and process development up to the release of the software
- Further development and maintenance of quality strategies and plans in the area of system and software engineering
- Performing verification and validation tests
- Automating tests
- Preparing test environments, performing manual and automated white-box and black-box tests, analyzing and reporting results in a defined form
- Improve processes or propose improvement where is applicable
- Act as recipient of release notes and combine results as input for the operations team
It would be great if you have
- 5 years of experience testing software for embedded devices (preferably IoT embedded systems)
- Experience in mentoring other colleagues and potential to grow as a team lead
- Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Understanding of embedded systems components, inputs and outputs, MCU peripherals, logical digital devices, communication interfaces, MPUs
- Excited to work independently and take responsibility
- Able to communicate openly and in an effective manner
- Excited to grow structures and processes in a young company
- Fluent in English at C1 Level
It would be even better if you have
- Familiarity with electronics and hardware and enthusiasm for setting up electronics like an EV charger
- Experience in the field of EV charging solutions
- Knowledge of embedded Linux
- Knowledge of power electronics
