In this role you will be responsible for implementing software requirements and developing System Configurator solutions in the Systems Drives division in Ladenburg, ensuring accurate product rule implementation and seamless sales document automation.You will collaborate extensively with international teams, analyze software requirements, and contribute actively to System Configurator development.

Your responsibilities
- Analyzing software requirements and implementing them in existing configurator solutions
- Actively contributing to the development of a System Configurator solution
- Defining and implementing product rules in the backend of the System Configurator
- Automating sales document creation using the configurator solution
- Developing mockups and prototype solutions
- Conducting function tests in collaboration with the development team
- Ensuring software meets quality and usability requirements
- Collaborating with international teams (Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain, and Logistics) to define accurate requirements
Your background
- Successful engineering degree with a focus on electrical engineering or mechatronics
- Proficiency in IT System Architecture and Modeling
- Practical experience and strong knowledge in software development, IT systems, and databases (SAP, SQL, PLM advantageous)
- Proficient in standard software like Windows and MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Strong logical thinking and abstraction skills
- High quality awareness, ability to work effectively in a team, and excellent communication skills
- Agile mindset, adaptability, and flexibility
- Structured, independent, and reliable work style
- Proficient in spoken and written English
