Das sind Ihre Tätigkeitsschwerpunkte

Network Infrastructure Management:

• Design, implement, and maintain the Cisco Meraki network infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and optimize network configurations for maximum efficiency.
• Ensure network security by implementing best practices and staying up-to-date with the latest security threats and solutions.

Microsoft/Linux Server Environment:

• Manage and maintain the server environment.
• Perform server upgrades, patch management, and backup and recovery procedures.
• Implement and manage configuration and management systems.
• Manage and improve core infrastructure (management) components (i.e. DHCP, DNS, Monitoring, etc.)

End User Computing:

• Ensure secure and reliable operations of end-user devices.
• Manage deployment packages and configurations.
• Apply security best practices.

Infrastructure Automation:

• Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
• Support the setup / migration IT networking infrastructure inhouse and in partner-owned service centres.

Incident Response and Troubleshooting:

• Respond to IT incidents promptly, diagnose issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
• Support analysis of infrastructure issues inhouse and in partner-operated service centres.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, server setups, and infrastructure changes. Generate regular reports on system performance, security vulnerabilities, and infrastructure health.

Ihr Profil

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Several years of experience in IT infrastructure administration, with a focus on Cisco Meraki, Microsoft Server, and Azure environments.
  Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing Cisco Meraki networks.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft server environments and Azure services.
• Experience with IT asset, software, and server management solutions (ideally for Microsoft, Mac, and Linux)
• Experience of leading and working with teams in multiple locations, and remotely
• Demonstrated ability to lead infrastructure project
  Networking:
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security principles, and best practices.
• Understand the principles of network design, including subnetting, VLANs, and segmentation, to create efficient and secure network architectures.
• Ability to design, align, and implement hybrid network and IT infrastructure designs and architectures.
• Knowledge of network security best practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and Network access control.
• The ability to implement QoS policies to prioritize critical network traffic and ensure optimal performance for applications.
  Server Infrastructure:
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automating routine tasks, configuration management, and deployment.
• Ability to identify and explore opportunities for IT infrastructure.
• Proficiency in using monitoring and management tools like Wireshark, Nagios, or PRTG to troubleshoot issues and optimize network performance.
  General:
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge and experience in IT methodologies and life cycles
• Customer- and value-orientation
• Business and technology savvy
• English is the first language of the company and therefore essential.
• German is a plus!
