In your new role you will:
- Create, modify and prioritize product demand forecasts, taking into account existing customer orders, as well as the sales and product marketing inputs
- Plan and maintain inventory targets on the basis of stock range objectives agreed within the organization. Own and manage (semi-)finished goods inventory proactively
- Optimize delivery performance and related customer satisfaction, including improvement of deviations from the requested customer dates and quantities
- Monitor delivery commitments of the global production locations (frontend and backend) for the assigned product portfolio
- Work out solutions with interdisciplinary teams, e.g. Development,Product Marketing, Product Management, Quality Management, and Frontend-/Backend manufacturing departments.
- Develop ramp-up scenarios, consider them carefully in the planning process, and monitor their execution.
- Execute ramp-up/-down plans and coordinate planned product changes in alignment with ramp-up management
- Contribute to reach production milestones in a timely manner, and ensure Infineon’s ability to deliver to our customers.
- Act on behalf of Supply Chain in product change projects. Define Supply Chain related activities as part of the project requirements. Align the implementation of product changes with various stakeholders.
- Manage Supply Chain-related special topics such as pre-production, production relocation, and special customer programs
- Customize existing-, and/or design and implement new reports and dashboards
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A degree in engineering, informatics, business administration, or comparable
- Between 1-3 years relevant experience inSupply Chain management, ideally in semiconductor industry
- An affinity for IT systems, experience with data analysis/data crunching, and good visualization skills; knowledge of JDA (BlueYonder) or SAP based planning systems is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills, the ability to solve complex topics, the flexibility to adapt to new situations and the motivation to go the extra mile
- Team spirit, a creative and respectful way of working with others
- Possess excellent communication skills. English is a must, German is an advantage
