Aufgabengebiet
- Responsible for overseeing regional replenishment plan with the help for 3rd party Blenders, optimizing the overall supply plans to ensure optimal inventory of finished products.
- Work closely with the Global Supply Chain (GSC) team to translate demand plans into supply plans.
- Support the Global Raw Materials Strategy Manager to monitor and plan raw materials supply into the 3rd Party Blender facility or storage, ensuring unconstrained production.
- To guide supply planner to ensure inventories are maintained at agreed levels (MSLs).
- Focus on our On Time in Full value proposition and continuously identify ways and means to improve this metric
- Align lead times, bottle necks and capacity constraints across the regional Supply Chain to the company's value proposition.
- Coordinate closely with supply planner and regional team members to optimize all warehouse movements and stock transfers in the region via the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, ensuring all delivery requirements are captured.
- Work with Blenders to ensure production is carried out an orderly manner to fulfil replenishment requirements.
- Support the Operations Manager to coordinate incident reporting and emergency response related to blending operations.
- Monitor and manage costs incurred with 3rd party Blenders, optimizing production capacity across the region and raw materials feedstock delivery.
- Support the GSC team in management reviews of the Blenders operational and cost performance.
- Tracking 3rd party Blenders Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as agreed. Pro-active identification and resolution of tactical operational issues.
- This includes areas but not limited to: Raw materials receipt, storage and handling, product manufacturing and packing/ship out of finished products.
- Drive operations excellence through continuous improvement initiatives with the help of regional operations head and GSC team.
- Visible leadership to champion GOM's Ethical, Legislative and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards compliance to all 3rd party Blenders.
Anforderungsprofil
- Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years relevant working experience, preferable in the Marine or Lubricant related industry
- Demonstrated proficiency in Supply Chain planning, cost analysis, business forecasting and inventory optimization.
- Experience in contracting & procurement (C&P) strategy and execution; proven results in negotiating competitive deals for the company
- Experienced in working with multinational and cross functional teams. Proven track record in building successful working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Knowledge and experience of the base oils and lubricants markets or a comparable bulk liquid environment is desirable, but not essential.
- Good self-organisation

- Fluent English language on negotiating level - other regional language skills considered as advantage
