We are reinforcing our team in the area Commercial Vehicle Solutions - Steering Systems at the location Gelsenkirchen or Duesseldorf
Your Tasks as Subsystem Engineer (m/f/d):
- Technical development of subsystem- and safety solutions & requirements in cooperation with internal and external suppliers including sign-off
- Subject matter expert for team & customers on subsystem questions
- Independent simulation and testing of subsystem, safety and functionalities to create and validate functional and non-functional requirements
- Commissioning of subsystems and its calibration
- Supplier management and single point of contact in engineering for the assigned subsystem
Your profile as Subsystem Engineer (m/f/d):
- Minimum 3 years experience on one of the assigned subsystems sensor and harness or very similar one
- Automotive Bussystems and respective software tools
- Environmental testing, EMC and electrical testing fundamentals
- FMEA, ISO26262, ASPICE fundamentals
- Steering System Knowledge
- Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) / QD83 quality handbook
- Knowledge of requirement management tools
