Studio lead - Casual Games

SLAY, founded in December 2022, has swiftly made its mark in the mobile world. In 2023, we developed several apps and games that reached the #1 spot in the App Store across 3 continents.

Backed by some of the world's most esteemed investors, including Accel, Scott Belsky, and Ilkka Paananen, SLAY is rapidly growing and reaching millions of users. We're looking to bring together the smartest individuals to achieve our mission to redefine the social gaming landscape.

You'll build our brand new Casual Games studio. Build, lead and manage the new studio (team of gameplay developers, game artists, game designers, and backend engineers) with the support of our core team.

• Manage the whole game creation process, from ideation to the full launch of the game (development, art, marketing, game design) to create the next hit game
• Extreme ownership on our product roadmap, processes and priorities
• Inspire and motivate the teams working on the games, and maintain enthusiasm for the project
• You'll have the full support and freedom on creating new games
• Onboard and coach your creative team so they can reach their goals
• Monitor and improve game metrics

• 5+ years of experience in the mobile gaming industry
• Building a team: Hire great engineering talent and build a core team
• 0 to 1: A strong passion for establishing new processes and iterating new games
• First Principle Thinking: Ability to dissect complex problems and devise innovative solutions.
• Urgency & Commitment: A high drive for results, managing tight deadlines effectively.
• Scalability Focus: Experience in developing and scaling systems for massive user bases.
