In this role, your responsibility will be to provide comprehensive support and guidance to clients within the Paint Systems domain of our Robot Automotive Division in Friedberg. This includes the creation and delivery of necessary presentations, ensuring alignment of technical requirements with ABB's product portfolio.You will lead the finalization of proposals and engage in negotiations to reach agreements with clients, among other key responsibilities.
Your responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive support and guidance to clients, including the creation and delivery of necessary presentations
- Conducting technical assessments, evaluations, and cost calculations for developing detailed proposals tailored to client needs
- Analyzing and refining customer requirements to align technical needs with ABB's product portfolio
- Leading the finalization of proposals and engaging in negotiations to reach agreements with clients
- Coordinating and overseeing bid activities globally in collaboration with other ABB entities
- Serving as a key point of contact and representative of technical expertise to build trust and client relationships
- Managing technical aspects of client interactions to enhance trust and rapport with clients
Your background
- Several years of experience in plant engineering and control technology, preferably within the automotive sector
- Bachelor's degree in Control Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field
- Project management experience, preferably as a project lead, demonstrating expertise in plant engineering and robot systems within the Paint sector
- Solid understanding of fundamental principles of control engineering and mechanical design
- Familiarity with Paint sector plant engineering and integration of robot systems
- Strong technical comprehension and aptitude for grasping complex technical requirements
- Fluency in both German and English, both written and spoken
- High flexibility and willingness to travel up to 30%
- Self-driven work approach, professional demeanor, and excellent communication skills
