We acquired our site in Nuremberg from Siemens in December 2022 and integrated it as a cornerstone of the Cummins Accelera segment.
To expand the team at our location in Nuremberg , we are looking for a Software T est Development Engineer . The position is a hybrid position, sharing time between home and the office in Nuremberg, Germany.
Responsibilities:
You specify, develop, and execute test cases to verify and validate software for electromobility (electric Commercial Vehicles)
Therefore, you work closely with the System Architect, Lead SW Architect and SW Manager
You analyze requirements at System and Component levels to develop test cases at functional, integration and system levels for execution in a HIL (Hardware-in-the-loop) environment
You manage the development of test cases to assure delivery of quality SW in planned time
You develop clean and efficient software according to coding guidelines and rules
You document test cases in the Requirements Management tool
You execute test cases and document results in reporting tool
You assist the SW architect in the analysis of SW test failures
You manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines
Qualifications
Your profile:
You have a successfully completed university degree in the technical field or another comparable qualification
You have experience in Automotive SW Verification & Validation Methodologies
You have developed Requirements based tests, Black-box tests, Fault-injection tests, etc.
You are familiar with Automotive Communication Protocols – CAN, UDS, DoCAN
You have some experience with Requirements Management (DOORS, Polarion)
You are familiar with HIL test systems and debugging tools
You have proficiency in industry standard tools such as Vector CANape, CANoe, CANalyzer and dSpace ControlDesk and AutomationDesk
You have developed excellent skills in scripting with CAPL / PERL / Python
Very good German and English skills, as well as the familiarity with intercultural teams complete your profile
