As a Software Quality Engineer at ABB Robotics, you will play a pivotal role to advocate the customer experience and ensuring reliability, performance, and usability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust quality assurance processes and methodologies. Your responsibilities
- Advocate voice of the customer during development of products and services.
- Govern the quality of the product from requirements definition until product release in the daily activities and in collaboration with the software developers.
- Drive efficiency and effectiveness of software product quality assurance in collaboration with peers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with software developers and EPIC/Product owners in critical to customer satisfaction activities.
- Be an integral part of the full quality assurance framework that starts and end with the customer.
- Contribute to visualize product quality growth to enable conscious risk decisions.
- Grow the use of AI for quality assurance and productivity.
Your background
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equal.
- Proven experience in software development, quality assurance and testing. We think that you have roughly 7-10 years of work experience.
- Deep understanding of quality, lean and agile principals.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Strong knowledge of Project and Risk management.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ or Python.
- Lean Six Sigma and use of AI are contributing selection factors.
