If so, Grundfos is currently seeking a Software Platform Director to join our diverse team and guide the development and evolution of our embedded Software Platforms, from solution architecture to implementation!

Grundfos supplies energy-efficient pumps and innovative digital solutions for applications across various segments, including domestic and commercial buildings, industries and water and wastewater management. We are known for developing ground-breaking solutions for global sustainability.

As the Software Platform Director, you'll have an integral part in setting strategic direction, fostering collaboration, and ensuring quality in software development.

Reporting and collaborating directly with the Head of Software Development, you will have a direct impact on shaping the future digital journey in the global set up.

Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other leaders to set strategic direction for embedded Software Platforms, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values;
• Take ownership of cybersecurity and compliance topics across the organization, prioritizing the safety and security of our systems and data;
• Champion joint ways of working within Software Development, creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for team members to thrive;
• Oversee the delivery of overall platform and reusable elements, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our stakeholders;
• Provide valuable technical expertise to the business alongside Chief Architect and Value Stream Heads, empowering teams to make informed decisions;
• Balance customization needs with platform standardization, promoting collaboration and innovation while maintaining consistency and efficiency.

Your background

We imagine that you:

• Possess a relevant academic education in engineering, computer science, or business development, providing a strong foundation for leadership in Software Platform strategy and development.
• Bring at least 5 years of experience in embedded Software Platform strategy and development, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry best practices and emerging trends.
• Have a proven history of leadership, with at least 7 years of experience managing diverse and cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
• Embrace diversity and inclusion, with an international mindset and cultural savvy gained through experience in international companies.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts effectively.
• Willingness to travel as needed to support team collaboration and organizational goals.
