Software Engineer (C++/Scala) (M/F/D)

We're seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team of 10, representing diverse nationalities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing in C++ and Python. This role will be based in Berlin and reporting to Senior Engineering Manager. Our primary focus is on developing scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure for web servers and data aggregation pipelines. Our systems process petabytes of data, with a whopping 15 billion requests daily. We use C++ for our web servers to ensure minimal latency, while our data pipelines are built with Spark in Scala, with Python for scheduling. All our systems operate on a cloud-based Kubernetes platform. Innovation is at our core, and we maintain a professional yet friendly work culture.
