For our business unit Power our location Regensburg we are looking for you as:
Software Developer (f/m/d) Embedded Linux

What challenges can you expect?

• You develop Linux base images as platforms for control of power electronic converters and mechatronic systems as well as Linux user-land applications and kernel drivers
• You are technical leader of software projects
• You create requirement documents according to specifications
• You develop embedded C and C++ code for our devices as well as interfaces and scripts based on requirements and application software
• You use modern lifecycle management and CI/CD tools

What do we expect from you?

• You have completed a degree in the field of embedded systems, computer science or electrical engineering with deep knowledge in Embedded Linux
• You have several years of experience in related topics
• You have a deep understanding of Yocto-based systems and Xilinx MPSoC
• Furthermore, you have a clear understanding on Linux Kernels, drivers, hardware abstraction layers, middleware and application software for power electronics and mechatronics systems
• You have a good knowledge of microcontrollers and SoC devices; ideally of STM32 and Zynq
• You are used to (agile) project management as well as lifecycle management tools (like Integrity, doors or Atlassian)
• You have good communications skills in English and German
