Settlement Specialist Middle Office

Daily trade and position reconciliation in all asset classes as equities, foreign exchange, fixed income, options and futures for products, mandates and the finance department / Transmission of various daily trade reports to custodians and administrators / Handling of FX settlements (gross/net) and collateral management / Daily cash balance and underlying transaction reconciliation against custodian data / Processing of non-trading related activities (corporate actions, swap resets, option expiry) / Supporting the Execution Desk in new account setups with various counterparties / External interaction with counterparties and custodians in case of trade breaks, settlement issues, missing confirmations and statements or general inquiries / Regulatory reconciliation and reporting (EMIR, Dodd Frank, MiFID) / Handling of distributions and physical share transfers on behalf of our advised and managed funds and mandates.

Bachelor's degree / At least 2 – 4 years of experience in the back/Middle Office of an investment bank, asset manager or other financial institution / Broad knowledge about all asset classes / Experience with regulatory reconciliation and reporting, FX Netting, Collateral management and knowledge of treasury systems / Strong flair for financial figures / Methodical and disciplined approach to work / Analytical mindset / Very accurate working style / Organized and reliable / Committed and flexible personality / Professional communication style / Detail oriented / Efficient and independent way to work / Eager to learn / Persistent and able to deal with pressure / Strong interpersonal skills / High self-motivation / Good computer skills including MS Office (Excel) / English as well as German.
