Senior System Development Engineer - Body Functions (M/F/D)

YOUR TEAM

You will be part of a motivated development team within our "Intelligent Cockpit & Body" domain. Our team drives the development of innovative connected body functions to create a holistic in vehicle experience for our customers and applications to enable tomorrow’s automotive ecosystems. By employing state-of-the-art technologies and by building a strong, successful and sustainable team we are augmenting the automotive experience as well as merging the consumer and automotive worlds.
The team establishes the link from our customers to their vehicles and provides them with the means to control, optimize the use and unleash the full potential of their vehicles.
We have successfully introduced a large set of online services to all brands within the group worldwide.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• End-to-end design of technical cross-domain concepts
• Creation of requirements and specifications in accordance with customer needs and regulations
• Coordination of software module development for functions across various teams
• Preparation and participation in agile planning events as well as committees
• Approval of functions for customer release
• Issue tracking and reporting
• Documentation of concepts and work products

WHO YOU ARE

• Academic degree in computer science, electrical engineering or in a comparable qualification
• Experience in project management of End-to-end features
• Familiarity with automotive electronics architecture and bus systems such as CAN or Ethernet
• Knowledge of agile working models and ASPICE compliant development
• Preferably, software development experience in the automotive domain
• Strong problem-solving, communication, negotiation and presentation skills with proactive, confident and curious personality
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a plus
