In your new role you will:
- Be the go-to-person for your worldwide customers and Infineon’s Field Application Engineers needing expert product support for our OPTIREG™ System Basis Chips (SBCs), linear regulators and transceivers
- Analyze and provide support on technical customer issues in the area of power supply and functional safety , by enabling design-in at our customers with detailed product expertise
- Create technical documents like datasheets, application notes and articles
- Analyze and develop technical material for go-to-market like evaluation boards, reference designs and design-in support tools
- Conduct feasibility, benchmarking and development studies for all kind of automotive applications in respect of ECU power supply
- Conduct trainings and workshops in your area of technical expertise for Field Application Engineers or customers around the world
- Collaborate and share your knowledge with direct colleagues, product definition engineers, product managers, R&D, validation, verification, production test and functional safety engineers

You actively drive conversation between your stakeholders and consider their point of view, thoughts and ideas in order to balance the customer’s requirements and the interests of Infineon. You are keen to understand the market and drive actively technical go-to-market initiatives. You are also interested in new requirements in the automotive market and share your knowledge and experience within the teams.

- A degree in Electrical Engineering , Microelectronics or comparable
- At least 5+ years of experience in a technical role as Technical Marketing, Application Engineer or Design Engineer in the automotive or semiconductor environment
- Solid knowledge about linear and switched power supplies , including state machines and watchdogs, schematic and PCB layout skills, lab experience and knowledge in circuitry design
- Bring along functional safety knowledge (ISO 26262) and microcontroller understanding is a big plus
- Experience in dealing with customers and working as interface between internal R&D and external partners
- Experience in actively driving complex problems to a solution by technically advising teams and consolidating their deliveries
- Fluent English and preferably also German communication skills
