About The Team The Foundations group is focused on delivering core platform software products. Starting from gateways, through merchant onboarding and offboarding reaching the billing systems and debtor management solutions of Unzer.

What your work will look like:

  • Create, improve and test cloud-based microservices
  • Contribute to software product design by writing technical specifications
  • Work with the Unzer Tech standards and processes and help us improve them
  • Be actively involved in team and organization knowledge-sharing

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • You have 3+ years of experience working with Spring Boot and Java 17 or above and perhaps even Angular
  • You know data structures, algorithms, operating and distributed systems as well as experience with databases including SQL and NoSQL
  • You are familiar with working with microservices, messaging, GIT and FDD
  • You always diligently test and document your deliveries
  • Hands-on mentality.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog and Open Search
  • Experience in Architecture design and common design patterns

Nice to have:
  • You have the know-how about delivering software to AWS cloud platform
  • You worked with Docker or Kubernetes platforms and you’re familiar with these containerization concepts
  • You already have experience working with Elasticsearch
