Senior Sales Specialist (m/f/d) OEM engines

In your role as Sales Specialist in the OEM Development Team for motors, you will advise major OEMs on technically complex requirements and customer-specific developments of low-voltage motors. Be part of the expansion of our specialist team and increase our growth in motors with your deep understanding of customer applications and requirements. You will bring a deep technical knowledge to support customer needs- for new motor business as well as further development. Your responsibilities

  • Identification of OEM sales opportunities and development of sales strategies.
  • Identification and development of customer contacts in all procurement areas (R&D, sales, engineering, purchasing)
  • Active support of the sales department, e.g. in technical design, technical development and new engine development
  • Elaboration and calculation of quotations - also for special solutions taking into account known solutions
  • Adjustment of ABB offers to specific customer requirements - in constant exchange with the manufacturing plant
  • Designing and preparing customer meetings
  • Ensuring close interaction with the other sales teams

Your background

  • Successfully completed technical studies or technician training
  • Relevant professional experience in technical sales and distribution
  • In-depth knowledge of drive technology, preferably in the area of low-voltage motors
  • Commitment to interacting with customers and maintaining customer contacts as well as a deep understanding of customer requirements and applications
  • Intercultural competence, communication skills and assertiveness
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English
  • Willingness to attend on-site customer meetings within Europe
