Business area Wind is looking after the development, construction and operation of wind power onshore and offshore as well as other non-hydro renewable activities like solar and batteries. We oversee the maintenance, operation and continuous improvement of wind generation assets, safely and with the highest levels of availability and profitability. We also perform the structuring and execution of project partnerships in accordance with the overall wind strategy.

In the job you will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the QHSSE and Business Area Wind Events Handling Process, Management of Non-Conformance Process and Lessons Learned Process for Business Area Wind. The successful candidate will lead investigations, and establish risk profiling, analysis, reporting, and communications framework for sharing learning, knowledge and best practices.

You will report to the Process Governance and Standards Compliance Lead and be part of the IMS & PG team. This team is part of the People, Culture and Standards staff functions within Business Area Wind.

As Senior Quality Specialist, you will take on a number of key responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain QHSSE Events Handling Process, Management of Non-Conformance Process and Lessons Learned Process for Business Area Wind.
  • Establish the problem-solving and root cause analysis frameworks for BA Wind and ensure collaboration with other functions. This is to ensure problem-solving robustness and compatibility with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead investigations, risk profiling and analysis, reporting, and communications framework for sharing learning, knowledge and best practices.
  • Actively lead investigations where appropriate and/or act as a 'gatekeeper' to ensure the satisfactory closure of investigations with the aim of embedding effective corrective actions and minimizing the risk of reoccurrence.
  • Collect data, analyse trends and report on performance against responsible processes
  • Use data and analytics from events, NCRs, and lessons learned to risk profile and inform the wider IMS & PG organisation on areas of focus and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and maintain a communications framework for sharing learning, knowledge and best practices on the output of significant or impactful events
  • Support compliance checks to assure adherence to processes for which you are responsible
  • Manage associated tooling including relationships with Vattenfall Group and IT to ensure BA Wind needs are adequately addressed, captured and acted upon.
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain training and associated materials to ensure the business has the necessary knowledge and competence to operate responsible processes
  • Lead \"train the trainer\" activities and support a coordinated approach to training delivery
  • Act as a coach and ambassador for the processes for which you are responsible, which may include convening and chairing appropriate forums or communities of practice

Location

The team members are located at our offices in the Netherlands, the UK, Denmark, Sweden and Germany thus the position is flexible within those locations.

Ihr Profil

The person we are looking for is a self-driven and experienced specialist who thrives in an environment with a high focus on process standardisation and excellence. Qualities we cherish are flexibility, proactiveness, generosity, friendliness, empathy, grit and a sense of humour.

Additionally, we expect you to have the following capabilities:

  • Minimum a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, business management or a related field or relevant industry experience
  • Professional certifications in relevant areas such as Quality Management, Health and Safety, or Risk Management
  • 5+ years of experience in incident handling, non-conformance management and/or risk management in a larger international company preferably within the renewables industry
  • Experience in developing and implementing QHSSE policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Experience with industry-standard problem-solving methodologies e.g. 8D, 7-Step, 3C etc.
  • Experience in leading investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
  • Familiarity with integrated management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) is a benefit
  • A strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English and willingness for some business travelling within northwest Europe is required
