Contract Type: Permanent - full-time Description:In this role you will lead and manage the Formula Innovation development team, you will steer and decide on research projects and you will ensure effective development of formulas according to the briefing of Marketing (end to end) including transparent documentation.
You will assess the feasibility, right scale of industrialization of a product.
You will assess feasibility, supplier capabilities and ensures right production scale for formulas.
You will cooperate with internal and external network to realize development and industrialization of a product.
You will be the digitalization key partner within R&D.
How you will create a beautiful impact:
Lead and manage the Formula Innovation development team
- Strive for efficiency and improve processes as needed
- Develop the team according needs
Steer internal and external development projects end to end
Manage development contacts/ contracts/ labs/ collaboration
Manage Formula development optimization
Reviews briefing information and provide feedback
Ensure launch dates, steer the development part of projects, work according company innovation process
Develop new formulas - on time in full according regulatory and company guidelines
Research on formula technologies and find smart technical solutions
Report & communication of the results
Ensures transparent documentation of results
Manages interfaces within Supply Chain related to Formula Innovation projects
Ensures regular reporting according agreement
Risk assessment of formulas (Stress tests, technical limitations, 3PM capabilities, hand-over form)
What you need to have to be our next audacious and creative talent:
A Bachelor or Master degree in Cosmetic Science or comparable education with at least 7 years working experience in skin care cosmetic formula development.
Leadership experience in technical and management leadership
Experience in galenic of active ingredients and Face Care formula technologies
Experience in Literature and patent research, monitoring and creation of patents
Experience in Innovation Process Management (Stage Gate Process) as core team member
Experience in co-creating and steering product launches with 3PMs incl. development and industrialization
Profound Raw Material know how
Organizational skills and Communicative personality
Fluent in German and English
