What you`ll do
Summary:
You will increase the security level of SAP by coordinating the elimination of vulnerabilities in multiple technologies

The Role:
As a vulnerability management specialist, you will be the aggregator of vulnerability management information across the line of businesses. The main goal of the role is to distribute vulnerability management information to teams, provide advice on remediation tasks, and manage vulnerability management operational efforts, to lower the attack surface of assets. Your main responsibilities will be:
•    Collaborate with different IT teams (development and operations) to get vulnerabilities fixed
•    Help the IT teams to reach their KPIs regarding vulnerability management by prioritizing vulnerabilities and training them in remediation tasks
•    Align with central vulnerability platform operation team to ensure that reported vulnerabilities are correct for all IT teams
•    Develop and maintain the central IT Splunk Dashboard for vulnerability management
•    Develop and maintain a vulnerability management guideline

What you bring
•    Bachelor degree in Informatics or similar education
•    4-5 years professional experience in Cybersecurity and/or Information Technology, with at least 1 year focused on vulnerability management.
•    In-depth knowledge of vulnerability management best practices and processes.
•    Experience with reporting vulnerabilities across an organization, with an emphasis on prioritizing vulnerabilities based on criticality.
•    First experience with Splunk queries, Splunk Dashboards, and PowerBI
•    Fluent in English is a must

Your team will be the central and cross-functional security team in SAPs internal IT department. Your colleagues are distributed in Germany and the US, cover all areas of cyber security and support the teams with their expertise in Risk Management, Awareness & Training, Identity Management, Incident Response etc. New ideas and views are very much appreciated and also expected.
