You will be participating in embedded firmware development (highly reliable secure firmware located in SROM for boot and configuration of MCU) from the definition to the final release for integration in Automotive microcontrollers.
Also, you will be participating in the development of requirements, design, and technical communication towards management, customers and between cross-functional partners to meet Automotive level quality of boot firmware with an efficient cost.
In your new role you will:
- Be responsible for development of product and cybersecurity requirements;
- Drive definition/development of elements of architecture and design;
- Develop/debug of low-level FW code and unit verification;
- Design activities according to Auto SPICE V-model;
- Develop projects-related technical documentation;
- Be mentoring junior engineers;
- Proactive communicate with different internal and external project partners;
- Contribute to the quality of design work products by reviews and approvals;
- The driver of continuous improvement of quality and cost reduction.

Your Profile
You are a skilled designer with a fearless attitude, excellent multitasking and proactive thinking skills. You are capable of establishing processes and delivering high-quality results within established timelines. You possess excellent communication skills and can work effectively with external stakeholders. You have a process-oriented approach towards work and are always focused on improvement. Additionally, you have excellent stress management skills and can think creatively to come up with innovative solutions.
You are best equipped for this job if you have:
- A University degree in Computer science, Microelectronics or similar fields of study;
- At least 6 years of experience in Embedded C software engineering;
- Knowledge of Cortex M Assembler (or at least knowledge of 8051Assembler);
- Experienced in development of firmware architecture and design;
- A very good knowledge of MCU architecture/operation (interrupts, bootloaders, IPC etc.) and communication peripherals (CAN, LIN, SPI etc.);
- Knowledge of ARM cortex architecture would be a plus;
- Basic knowledge of the cryptography and corresponding algorithms (AES, SHA-1, RSA)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts for embedded systems would be a significant plus;
- Fluent in English.
