The Opportunity
Are you interested in taking your career to the next level and joining a global design community working with some of the best talent? Adobe Design is looking for a talented Designer to join the Document Cloud design team and help us build the next generation of editing experience.
This role is looks at revolutionizing the editing experience within Acrobat Mobile. You'll lead the design and refinement of a user-centric edit interface that's intuitive, efficient, and seamlessly integrated into the mobile app. Your objective is to transform how users interact with documents on the go, making editing tasks, from simple text adjustments to complex formatting changes, a breeze on any mobile device.What you'll Do
  • Create user experience goals, priorities, and deliverables that align with product milestones, coordinate multiple projects to completion, and drive adoption of user experience practices.
  • Proactively engage with multiple project stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and other designers in drafting & brainstorming initial concepts.
  • Convey design ideas and end-to-end user experience via sketches, storyboards, hi-fidelity mockups, prototypes, or animations.
  • Create designs that meet product objectives, fit within Adobe Design guidelines, and respond to user feedback and usability testing findings.
  • Be an advocate for the user. Conduct primary and/or secondary research, as well as quick rounds of usability tests.
What you need to succeed
  • A minimum of 6 years of industry experience in product design with a proven track record of great designs and strategy that meets user needs, product requirements & business objectives.
  • B.Des/M.Des degree in HCI or design related field, with an emphasis on user experience, interaction design, or visual design.
  • Ability to grasp the essence of complex design problems and translate them to practical design solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of user-centered design principles and best practices for mobile design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders and executive leaders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional problem-solving skills, capable of working independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working iteratively with engineering teams to bring the design vision to life.
  • Excellent design craftsmanship combined with strong business intuition.
Nice to Have:
  • Proven experience designing for mobile experiences, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in mobile design.
  • Familiarity with prototyping and motion design tools a plus.
