- Requirement Capture and initial design concept definition
- Lead the development, prototyping, testing, integration and certification of electrical and avionics systems in accordance with recognized systems engineering practices
- Provide engineering support for the systems assigned to you, including support to procurement, production, flight testing, troubleshooting and the initiation of design changes.
- Perform technical management of the work packages assigned to you, including coordination of activities across departments and supplier liaison
- Technical Support to Bid and Sales Management by generating feasibility study, rough cost and time line estimation and supporting customer Design Reviews
- Write and review System Safety Analysis /Functional Hazard Analysis
What you should bring with you
- University Degree in electrical or aerospace engineering
- 5 years of experience in a systems engineering role, with a focus on electrical and/or avionics systems development and integration
- Experience in the aerospace, or similar safety critical industry is an asset
- Knowledge of military COM and IFF systems is advantage
- Knowledge of FMS, HUD and FCS systems is advantage
- Working knowledge of FAA/EASA certification requirements
- Ability to work in a dynamic and multicultural team
- Experience in requirements management and tools such as Doors is advantage.
